CRUSADER USA series are Gary Kramer’s personal tribute to the early ‘80’s instruments, which have set
the music stage on fire. Heavily oriented towards Hard Rock music, these types of instruments were the
very stepping stone of future Shredding Masters. A new style of music was born and many guitar
virtuosos have developed their killer chops on instruments featuring double locking tremolos and
humbucking pickups.

CONQUEST, CATHEDRAL and ILLUSIONIST are designed for musicians to experience these fine instruments
in a true Custom Shop package. Our goal was to “import” some of the prestige values of Gary Kramer’s
Aluminum neck era, and create a familiar looking hybrid.
Instead of using ordinary plastic materials, we felt that the earlier Kramer history had strong roots in using
fine polished Aluminum instead. The connection was made, but we had to give these instruments a flavor
of the 21st century.

All Crusader USA series feature our patented two piece recessed Iron Cross neck plates and hydro-cut
aluminum plates. The first thing to experience is the player oriented smooth oiled neck, 43mm wide nuts
for better string spacing and carefully rolled edges for that vintage “played in” feel. The Crusader volume
knob features a rubber grip for improved handling and their wiring prevents unwanted loss of high
frequencies while performing delicate volume swells. Our Deluxe version has a double humbucker layout
with an optional series/parallel wiring, which keeps this instrument absolutely noiseless, even at the
highest gain settings.

Illusionist is the visual model. At first glance, it strikes out at you! It cannot be mistaken for anything
else as it freely floats in a class of its’ own. This model features our patented body shape, which is
unique for the complexity of the carved “Illusionist” pickguard. Until now, Strat styled guitars were
known to be made either with or without the plastic pickguard. The Illusionist model uses the familiar
looks; however, its integrated arched pickguard puts these factors into completely new perspective. Its’
all Mahogany body delivers smooth compressed sustain with warm highs, and matching color pickup
transforms this classic double cutaway shape into a fine crafted piece of Modern Art. Illusionist is the
model where we separate ourselves from the rest. It is the model, which proves that we are still strongly
marching “A Step Ahead!”

The Custom Shop section allows any CRUSADER USA model to be matched with many different neck
wood options, three different types of hardware, custom paint jobs, optional binding and some of the
finest custom graphics. Never confuse CRUSADERS USA with mass produced instruments. Available in
Limited numbers, we will build you a fine-crafted American guitar to your personal order specifications.
